We love wine here at Zebee, but after this city guide on Heidelberg in Germany Heinke Breunig has convinced us that going to the city and walking on the world's biggest wine barrell is now a worthy bucket list addition!!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAVOURITE AREA OR HIDDEN GEM
The old town of Heidelberg is really gorgeous! You won't miss the Castle, which is seen from the riverside. I really can recommend to do one of the guided tours. You'll get to see the biggest wine barrel of the world (you can even walk on it). Also pass the Carl Theodor bridge to get the best view of the Castle from the other side of the river.
If you like hiking take the philosopher's way, you'll get a nice view through the Neckar valley!
You'll find some really cool places in Heidelberg and don't miss the University's Library, the inside of this old building will remind you a bit of Hogwarts...
