Fun Things To Do In London

London, the cultural capital of the world. We have come up with a must-see list for our Zebee family. We think you should base yourself central/east. The city of London and east are overlooked areas at the weekend with good prices due to the business clientele leaving over the weekend.

Tayyabs is a must visit with three floors of London’s finest Punjabi cuisine and bring your own booze on offer. The area has great tube links but we mainly love it because you can walk to all the great spots London has to offer and really see the city.

Many come to London to shop but we think you lovely lot might not enjoy the large Westfield shopping centres, Oxford street or Carnaby street as a destination – shop like a local and hit up “Dover Street Market”  for the perfect mix of new brands, streetwear and established favourites.

“The Box park” complexes have become a London must. They now have three ship container style parks filled with shops, bars and street food. Events and good vibes are guaranteed with our favourite still being the original Shoreditch complex (Croydon and Wembley also have offerings). We recommend in particular checking out “Black Bear Burger” ;) (our co-founders favourite burger in London).

The evening is reserved for the rooftop bar. Views, drinks and games are all guaranteed. London has many great offerings but we personally think you should stay East and go to “Roof East” in Stratford or the new kid on the block “Skylight” on top of the famous tobacco dock (the entrance is hidden at the side of a car park) – seriously good fun and Instagram moments are guaranteed.

For the hungover Sunday stroll before the dreaded airport departure on the flight we all book too late in the evening we reckon checking out the hidden gem of London’s Zone 1 village “Wapping”. Walk along the Thames, check out the cobbled streets and gardens along with great value pubs dating back to the early 20th century. This truly is a hidden gem and we recommend checking out “The Captain Kidd” so old school it doesn’t even have a website.
