Marie-Hélène, the Head of Communications and Partnerships of Lighthouse Relief, and Zebee's NGO Hive Leader Clara, who sits on the board of REFUGYM, will be hosting a Q&A panel session to talk about social media development and ethics for non-profit organisations.
This event will focus on creating engaging and ethical content and achieving a strong social media following which will ultimately lead to more awareness of the issues your non-profit organisation is raising.
About Lighthouse Relief:
Lighthouse Relief (LHR) is a non-profit organisation formed in 2015. Over the past five years, LHR has provided emergency relief to people arriving to the north shore of Lesvos, and long-term psychosocial support to asylum seekers in Ritsona Refugee Camp, mainland Greece. Our mission is to provide a dignified, respectful and empowering humanitarian response, with a focus on supporting vulnerable groups like women, children and youth, as well as local communities in Greece through our ECO Relief programme.
REFUGYM was founded in 2018, in response to the unaddressed physical and mental health needs of people seeking asylum in Greece. It runs exercise classes within a refugee camp located North of Athens. The camp is home to 3,000 people, predominantly from Afghanistan but also from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Kurdistan and Pakistan.
We are a community social enterprise that's all about advocating everyday heroes. We want to share your success stories and help you along the way. We are the perfect home for NGOs and young creative individuals.
