Running Tour of Central London: Run with Anna
Time & Location
About the Event
The best way to take in the charms of London is by foot so join the Zebee team and take an informative running tour of this beautiful city.
We will follow a 7km route (comfortable for anyone who can run 5km) and over 2hrs we’ll pass Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Somerset House, The Globe and end at Borough Market – where you can grab yourself some lunch at the 12th Century food market. At each spot we’ll stop for photo opportunities and you can learn some fun facts about our destinations from our Zebee Ambassador Anna.
Please wear suitable footwear for running and bring a light jacket or waterproof if the weather looks dubious. There will not be anywhere to store items at the start or finish of the route so carry only what you’re able to run with.
We will meet to the right of the London Eye at the riverside and we will finish at Borough Market. The closest station for the London Eye is Waterloo, Westminster or Embankment and for Borough Market is London Bridge, Borough or Monument.
Anna is a keen runner and London resident of 8 years who has run many half and the full London marathon – the perfect guide to help you make the most of your time in London!
'I used to run with my mum when I was a kid as she ran in many races and marathons and we lived next to a beautiful lake which was perfect for training. When I was 21 I started running again - just enough to get me around a charity 5k and then slowly my runs got bigger and bigger!
Living in London is fast paced and it’s difficult to find time for yourself away from technology and people. Running is perfect for that and a great way to appreciate how many interesting things there are to see around you here. I love exploring London this way.'
Whether you’re on holiday or you’re a Londoner who keeps forgetting to do the tourists bits, you’ll love exploring London on foot and realising how close everything really is. You’ll also learn some interesting facts along the way and meet some interesting folk!
