Time & Location
About the Event
This event has limited availability. Only 10 spaces available.
Zebee Photography Hive Knowledge-Sharing Session hosted by our hive leader Michael and hive member Alice.
How to make your portfolios stand out with an over-saturation of hobbyist photographers on social media?
Photographers are often self-taught and have limited experience with developing their own social media presence which can lead to missed engagement opportunities. In this session, we are going to discuss ways of organising people’s thoughts so they can approach their social media profiles more intelligently.
We hope at the end of this session you'll have a better understanding of the social media presence of your portfolio.
Based just outside London, Michael has been developing skills as a hobbyist portrait and fashion photographer since 2011. After a career-driven hiatus, he restarted in earnest in April 2019 under the IG handle @mindshutterphotos (https://www.instagram.com/mindshutterphotos/) and has since relished any opportunity to work with other creatives around the country.
About Alice: “I was born in Genova, a seaside town in the northwest of Italy. I have a degree in Industrial Design followed by a couple of internships in Ireland and the US. My love for travelling and exploring the world was bigger than my passion for art, graphics, and design so I decided to spend a year in Australia to reevaluate my future career. After coming back I discovered the beautiful world of events, a vibrant and exciting field where I could combine my love for creativity and travelling while planning amazing experiences. This led me to move to London to specialise in Event Management where I spent the last 5 years working in the events and travel industry. When covid hit back in March, given the crisis in my industry, I lost my agency job and decided to reset my life and look for new opportunities. I started studying Social Media Management and moved back to Italy where I am now working freelance. My goal is to strengthen my skills, combine my past experiences and start working remotely as a Digital Nomad.”
